if you have to, then I would say yes...Prozac will hinder your gains though, it'll slow your appetite down, make you lethargic at times, etc..

      Taken from webmd...

Prozac is ideal if you're depressed but sleep normally and need to be able to function during the day. It's also a good choice if you didn't respond to a tricyclic or an MAOI, or if you can't take the side effects of these older drugs. Moreover, if you have weight problems or struggle with obsessions, Prozac might be for you, since studies suggest that people with atypical depression (the symptoms of which include oversleeping and overeating) respond better to Prozac than to tricyclics.

If you don't respond to Prozac, you might do better with one of the older antidepressants (such as the MAOIs or tricyclics), or you might respond to a different SSRI, such as Zoloft or Paxil, or on the just-approved Serzone, a serotonin-related drug. You might also do better on a structurally unrelated antidepressant such as Effexor or Wellbutrin.

you wont gain as much weight on it...

If you want, I can send you some interesting shit I know about these kind of drugs when it comes to depression....I know alot of good stuff on this, I was going to write an article on SSRI and others, but it seems that the Newsletter for the board never took off, so instead I wrote it on sleeping dissorders...Hope this helps

None of the SSRI's should interact with AAS. As to the issue of whether they will interfere with gains, I'd like to see some studies in people that show this. I bet being depressed hinders your gains alot more.

if your doc puts you on it, then take it. I took it for awhile and i'm glad to be done with it, I think i was more messed up on it than before I started. Everyone reacts differently though.
