Well you guys aren't going to believe this but here it goes. I worked graveyards and got off Tues. morning. I went home got 2 hr.'s sleep got up went to the gym and then went to the church to volunteer( we are cooking and giving out meals- water- fruit- and ice) for those affected by hurricane Ike. Anyway when I get there I see this big black guy in a security uniform. I start talking to him and find out he is from Dallas and the company that sent him down here to work has given him a place to stay and the orders were all messed up so while he was shopping in Krogers he met my Pastor and told him the story. My pastor told him to caom stay at the church and we would pay him to watch all the supplies until his company got there mess straightened out. As we are talking (I'm wearing my sweat pants and Muscle-universe sleeveless shirt) about lifting and he ask me if I heard of Ronnie Coleman. Of course I said yes and he proceeds to tall me that his little cousin. I say NO WAY! e gets on his cell phone a dials a number and puts it on speaker. I then hear Ronnies anmswer machine and he leaves a message to call him back. As we continue talking- his cell phone rings and guess who??? Ronnie Coleman! He tells him there is a guy thats wants to talk to him and hands me the phone. We sat and chatted for 15mins or so about lifting and I tried to talk him into coming down and letting me workout w/him. Anyway- super nice guy and his cousin and I are in contact on a regular basis now. He tells me that he's going to talk to Ronnie and try and get him to come down- All I can say is I've been stoked after talking to him. Just had to tell you guys- thought that was soooooooo cool!

funny follow up to this story- now his Lil Cuz calls me 3-4 times a day always needing something (car fixed- a ride- a place to stay)- I'm just about at the ned of my rope. I told him he needed to call the church and see if they could help. Its kinda hard for me to put myself that far out when I'm working 7-12"s trying to get these units back up and running and bringing two kids to baseball practice and games along with taking care of horses and my normal honey-do's- just don't have any excess time for anything

I use to see Ronnie around town a few times a year. Haven't seen him in person for about 8 years. He's big and his muscles look awesome closeup.

Thats great. John Decola, former Mr. America lives in my town. I see and talk to him at the gym sometimes. I believe he won Mr. America when Arnie was Mr. Universe.
