THey do that just to piss ya off and apparently it is working.
TweetWhat's the deal with eggs? I eat at least 12-18 hardboiled egg whites per day. Peeling them is a pain in the ass but it's a great form of protein and it's cheap. However, my question is this: Why is it that some eggs (even though they were boiled in the same pot) just don't want to peel correctly? I got so phucking mad today I smashed the hell out of one with my hand (I did feel a little better after that). Out of the 12 I boiled, two just wouldn't peel easily. Instead, the shell peeled off chunks of the egg white along with it, which left me nearly nothing to eat and highly pissed!

Tweetdoesn't taste like anything. crack 5 eggs into a protein shaker, 2 scoops chocolate whey. doesn't bother me at all and i have a week stomach. raw eggs digest easier as well.
TweetHey Gook!!
Actually, I've read that if you add a little vinegar to the water, the shells come off easier. Give it a shot, let us know if it works.

Tweeti guess the odds are 1 in 30,000 for the egg to even contain it. even then,, if digested it doesn't mean anything is gonna happen. Buy farm fresh eggs or organic and the odds are even better in your favor.Originally Posted by Iron_Gook
awesome way to easily hit your protein mark with solid food. 2 doz. eggs in a day are easy. try it, sure beats having your burps smell like farts too.
TweetAnother thing you could try, if you don't already... After you've finished cooking the eggs, fill the pot back up with EXTREMELY cold water and let them sit for a couple of minutes. This will help the shell separate from that thin film that is in-between the shell and egg. Easier to peel
TweetI know this is an old thread but I have a tried and true method for hardboiling the little protein ovals! While i appreciate the commentary by our good bro Whitetail, I feel that i must let you know that I actually enjoy farting (hunting camp is the greatest place next to the gym) much more than burping . . . sooooo here it is. 12 eggs completely covered in water. Add a snuff pinch of salt. Bring it to a boil and let it boil for 2-3 minutes. Turn the heat off and immediately cover the pot/pan. Let them sit for 20 minutes and then rinse with cool water just enough to take a little heat off of your egg peeling fingers. Peel away, enjoy with a little hot sauce of your choice, or a dash of Nature's Seasonings. Wait twenty-thirty minutes and then begin farting profusely. I like them Whitetails way if I have to go somewhere where people wont appreciate a good spphheeeert.
PS If anyone wants a good cookie recipe . . . ask my mom.
