A great number of anabolic users took this drug to eliminate excess water either to avoid the bloated look they get with certain steroids, or to cut up for a bodybuilding show. This diuretic is potassium sparring, so it will not deplete muscle tissue as much as other diuretics. The common practice of using potassium suppliments or potassium salts should not be done in conjunction with this drug. Average doses used by athletes on this drug were 1 to 2 tablets a day for short peroids of time. Usually just for a week or so before the show.
