So I found out I will be traveling towards the end of summer quite a bit. I normally have a flexible schedule and can go to the gym when I want. I will be traveling a ton and for awhile. I have never been on the road before so I am nervous about my workout plan. Diet wont be an issue because I can go to the store and I am disciplined in this area (minus my wine problem). I will be staying at decent hotels but there still small. I wont be on cycle (no point if I cant hit it hard). I know most of the gyms have cardio machines but weights usually stink. Any suggestions? I wont be around the Mr a lot so I want to come back looking SMOKIN hot for him. Any tips will be appreciated. Anyone work on the road?

Re: on the road soon
Here are some things you can do while traveling:
Push ups, dips on a chair, lunges, squats, ab exercises, planks, calf raises. You can get a whole workout in with your bodyweight alone. How about throwing some resistance bands in your suitcase and doing a workout with those? Those are great and easy to travel with.Veritas Vos Liberabit

Re: on the road soon
both fuzo and baby1 hit it pretty good....i JUST was reading an article in one of the mags that was dealing wiht traveling and getting fit....about the same type of stuff they mentioned...a couple different resistance bands take up little room, have no weight and can do a ton of excersizes....i'm sure you could google "excersize band programs" or some shyt like that and get tons of things that can be done!!HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!

Re: on the road soon
My biggest challenge on the road is diet. I like that you've already thought ahead of a strategy to go to the store. Just encourage you to stay diciplined there. That can make a world of difference.
Might also pick up a workout video to play on your computer or Hotel TV. I always have Ab RipperX with me on the road - just watching that one makes my abs hurt! LOL
You can do it!!
