  • Lifting belt

I should have asked first but I'm such an impulse buyer. Pulled the trigger on this belt.

Any opinions on this? Planning to start wrapping knees for heavy squats too. Looking for 600+ shortly.

It's a good belt, see how it works for you.

Good company. I got a Schiek too, the 3004.

I was looking at that one too but all the power lifters recommended a 4" all the way around. Should last a lifetime. Can't wait to put it to work.

Their website is confusing. There are 30+ options for the same belt and I can't find out what they mean.

              Good looking belt though.

Picked up the schiek and it came quick. Looks solid but the sizing was off. Ordered a L received a XXL. At first I was but it fit, granted it was on the second set of holes. Should I return and get an XL and split the difference since the XXL does indeed fit? In the event I get smaller...it may not fit.

Yes, return it bro. That is a piece of equipment that you will have with you for a long time. I wear a medium, and when I pull the strap on it I get it to go all the way. Take a couple sets to warm the belt up though lol...

                      Re: Lifting belt

I'm thinking a large would suit you better bro. I doubt your a 40"-45" waist which is the XL. Large is 35"-41", but like I mentioned above, I max a medium out at its tightest point and that's 31"-36". Sometimes I wish I could feel what a small feels like. Before I bought my belt, I read a lot of reviews saing to buy 1 belt size smaller but I didn't listen ha ha...

They have a large in the mail for me.

Let me say one thing as I've only seen crappy golds gym belts, this schiek comp is a beast.
