I'm having some hair problems and i'm pretty sure there not gear related since i had them precycle and now im having them still after i stoped my cycle.

But i'm wondering how you guys liked this for stopping the shedding and regrowth?? -J

So 1.25 mg ED??

Ive heard of people going with 1mg twice ED...


How soon did you see results?


Would you guys recomend a higher dose in the begining and to lower it once everythings cool again?

1mg is what my doc prescribed for e 5 years ago ...worked great for me......

1/4 of Proscar every day (I am 265 lbs).

If I am cycling once a week I take the whole pill of Proscar (5mg) to prevent buildup of DHT.

So far so good - this is my second year.

I've been consistently using 1.25mg finasteride (I also get the 5mg Proscar and cut them into quarters) for about three months. I can't say whether or not it's working just yet. I used it in the past but wasn't consistent with it. I've been feeling lethargic/tired which I attribute atleast in some regards to the drug. Sex drive has diminished just a little. Hopefully, these sides will subside eventually.

If you do go ahead and use the finasteride, don't expect immediate results. Periodic sheddings are common and you must be prepared for them. Sheddings can be a good sign that the drug is taking effect. It can take up to six months to a year to see results.

I'd also add minoxidil and a topical anti-androgen such as spironolactone. One other supplement you may want to add is MSM. I've been taking it for the past few weeks at 2-3 grams/day and my hair definitely feels thicker. It's pretty cheap too, like $10 for 90 1000mg caps at Wal-Mart.

I have been using the liquid finasteride from www.nonconsumables.com and also spiro cream and solution as well as minoxidal with A Acid and I have not lost anymore hair since I started this!

Noooo waaayyyy never from me, lol! Hey they keep this board alive and pay its bills so I will plug it wherever I can members dont realize by using them they support us and keep us afloat!

I have all the nizman stuff and i got my finastride from buy b12 so ill go with 1mg ED
