TweetBought another custom build yesterday- Calvary Arms Lower and Daniel Defense upper in 223- this gun was custom built and shavin for weight- weighs less that a Colt 1911 full size- will post pics later
TweetOK- here is the pic with my new(2nd) AR- its a custom superlight build that well under 6lbs and weighs no more than a full size all metal 1911. It have a Calvary Arms lower and a Daniel Defense upper chambered in 5.56/223 of course. I haven't put any optics on it yet, but it did come with 3/30 round mags and is shooting 1.5" groups with just bolting on the open sights @50yards(I haven't even adjusted the sights yet- just bolted and shot-LOL)

TweetAR equipped.
Sounds like a nice shooter too. nice rifles!
So a 1911 weighs close to 6lbs?!!
Tweetall metal full size is close
Tweetwow...i would've never guessed. But when ya think about it. Many of the plastic framed pistols weigh over 2lbs unloaded. So, I'm not so surprised after thinking about it.
I'm glad you threw that tid-bit of knowledge out there. learn somethin everyday.
Tweetwell I ordered another complete lower with 6 position stock today- guess I'll but another upper and build my 3rd toy-LOL
