TweetIt sounds like the driver is corrupted, which you should be able to download a new one from the manufacturers web page. However, check out this forum entry from someone with similar problem that fixed it by deleting some keys.

If that doesn't work I would run CHKDSK. Just type cmd in the run window and that will pull up a cmd window, then tpye CHKDSK. This will check your hard drive for errors and can repair things that are still readable.
