jacked injection site!!

Tweetmy rear delt is jacked up from my last shot a week ago and usually it feels much better after a few days. it's not red and maybe alittle swollen but mostly just hurts..... so, what i was thinking was that i shot too much (normally i do 1cc this time i did 1.5cc) or i injected a peice of stopper from the vial. just guessing here, but i didn't want to train all last week cuz it hurt so bad!

TweetIf you injected any time of foreign object you would have major redness and swelling. The body would be attackingthis area and swell up to rush the blood to it with white blood cells to attack it. If you don't have redness, then you more than likely don't have a foreign objest.

1- You could, however, have a build up. That'w where the substance does not disperse quickly and stays in the facia. The blood will not be able to flow through the facia properly and this will cause some swelling.

2- (this is my guess) the facia in the delts are not as wide as the facia in the glutes or quads so when you increased the amount injected by 50% it was too much and you tore the facia. This will hurt longer and take longer to heal. Think of taking a couple months off from the gym and then going back and hitting it like you never left. Your muscles would be in so much pain from all the facia being torn down that it will hurt for several days. This is what I think you did.

When hitting areas like the delts with more than 1 cc I recommend that you use a longer needle like 1 1/2 and go almost all the way in, inject half the solution, then pull out half way and inject the rest. This will allow the solution to be dispersed through two different sections of facia and cause less tearing of facia. Also, with this method you don't have to change needles or spots like you would if you did 1/2 in one delt and hald in the other.

Tweet1 sounds good and seems likely! another thing that i failed to mention was that i generally do the elpitical machine with the arm thingy twice a day for cardio and i didn't last week. i think that would also flush more blood through my rear delt to wash out the gear.... right?

well, i didn't the wife did! it is one of my favs! 1inch 25gauge and not alot of nerves or blood vessels! that and traps are the ones that when they go good are great, but when they go bad..... OUCH!!!!!

TweetI had my glut swell up big time last week, damn thing hurt still tried to train legs but quickly had to give up. Its still a little painful but now I can walk normally LOL. Everyone gets it from time to time I think.

Tweethalf a cc extra isnt going to do this to you man. I pump 2cc in mine and no prob.
If it doesnt start to get better soon i would get some antibiotics and start running them. 2 weeks you should be seeing improvement. Was it high mg gear?
