Now the real problem; i dont know where to start. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I just dont want to be ashamed of myself any longer.

ok like I said a newb; what do you mean by stats? I want to drop like 25 lbs and get cut up a bit. The only real training experience i have is the bigger, faster, stronger program that i did for my high school football team. that was like 14 years ago.
thanks
Scott
Tweetstats: age, height, weight, approximate bodyfat%, training experience, etc,etc...
Sounds like you might want to take advantage of morning cardio. Maybe even train in the morning because the body is most catabolic which results in the best time to burn fat. Or break it up. Take advantage of the fat burning metabolism in the morning with a good cardio. Then weight train later. Of coarse, you have to implement a training regimen which will accommodate your schedule. Commitment! That's what it takes. If you don't put all you have into it, you'll see it in your results...err, more like you won't see results. It's a way of life. Sometimes a complete lifestyle transformation is needed to reach your goals. Dedication! EAT HARD, TRAIN HARD, SLEEP HARD. <---that's what it's all about. You get those things correct, and you'll be happy. You found a great place with some very knowledgeable and friendly folks. Look around, browse the forums, read alot, and ask questions. Best of luck to you!

Thanks bro for the advise. Well as for stats I am 32 this month, I am 5'10" and right at 200 lbs. I dont know what my body fat % is. Like i said earlier the only real training i have had was in highschool so i am completely new to all of this. Drive I have, Commitment I have; I am going to do all I can to meet the goals that i have set for myself. These are my starter goals as I know that once I meet them my goals will change. I am not exactly a fat slob but as i have got older I have noticed that my body just isnt as it once was. Although i have not had any real training in a gym I can say however grew up on a farm and literally shoveled pig sh!t out of a 35' Tractor trailer 4 times a week. Each truck would usually be around 2 tons of manure. If that wont give you a core strength I dont know what will.....lol. Thanks for all of your advise and encouragement. I look forward to getting to know all of you and believe me I will come with questions.
Thanks
Scott
