May 31 - Dutch paedophiles launch political party to push for cut in the legal age for sexual relations.
The party also wants private possession of child pornography to be allowed and supports allowing pornography to be broadcast on daytime television, with only violent pornography limited to the late evening.
It believes toddlers should be given sex education and youths aged 16 and up should be allowed to appear in pornographic films and prostitute themselves.
The party also thinks sex with animals should be allowed, although abuse of animals should remain illegal.
Michelle Carlile-Alkhouri reports SOUNDBITE: Ad Van Den Berg, founding member of the NVD party saying, (Dutch):
"We are saying that if kids say yes to the contact they themselves want, they are going to talk much faster about unwanted contacts because then they can see the difference. So we hope that when the kids start to talk about unwanted contact we can faster prevent problems if things start going wrong. This way we're offering much better protection than teaching them to say no. Saying no is mostly making children scared."
