Tweetlol outta the mouth of kids.. gotta love'em
TweetSo I'm going through the daily routine. Caffeine-ated check. Intra-workout drink prepped, check. Now I'm on the road to pick the kids up from school and hit the gym.
Halfway to the gym I realize I left my intra-workout at home. I blurted out some expletive I don't know which one but my 6 year old says, "what's wrong daddy?" Feeling a little foolish I replied, "oh nothing babes, daddy just forgot his drink at home." Without skipping a beat she looks at me and says, "I don't think that's a good reason to get so mad." As that's setting in my 5 year old says, "ya daddy do you need a time out!" Lol! Sometimes perspective is everything.

There is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never care for anything else thereafter.

Kids are so smart and can put things in perspective...we need to listen to them more
