      Greetings all! I have a few questions on diet

      1) I understand that we should eat foods that are high in fiber. What amount of fiber in food constitutes "high fiber"? Is it an amount or some kind of ratio?

      2) I have read the "Hard-core diet" that FUZO posted awhile back. It said to avoid fructose. Would this include avoiding sports drinks like Gatorade which contain fructose (even though it's about the 4th ingredient listed)?

      3) On days when I cut, should I avoid carbs, to maximize the fat-burning effects of any cardio work?

      Any help would be greatly appreciated

      WELL I USE METAMUCIL 3X A DAY TO GET MOST OF MY FIBER.AND WHEN YOU SAY DAYS THAT I CUT ARE YOU REFERRING TO YOU ONLY CUT CERTIAN DAYS OF THE WEEK AND NOT ALL WEEK LONG.AND FRUCTOSE IS NATURAL SUGAR WICH IS OK TO TAKE BUT NOT A ABUNDANCE OF IT.AND WHEN DIETING OR CUTTING YOU SHOULD REDUCE CARBS FOR THE ENTIRE TIME WHILE DIETING. NO CHEATING IF YOUR SERIOUS

      Dear FUZO,

      Thank you for the reply. I had never thought about using something like Metamucil. Thanks for the tip! As far as cutting only on certain days or for a whole week, I'm still in the process of adjusting my diet and exercise schedules, so I guess I was just looking for info on whether to cut carbs during those periods. And I'm assuming form your answer re: Gatorade, that drinking one post-workout would be OK to get my carbs? NC
