As far as the caseins in protein, i hear that it is a slower acting protein that has anti-catabolic properties, but is better taken when the body has a slower metabolic rate, so in that being said, casein would be better taken in the evening or before bed, as it would be utilized more efficiently. I notice they are using casein in these night time proteins. IMO, its just another hype to sell protein. If you stick with a good quality whey protein you will have just as good if not better results and i won't hurt your wallet as much.
