You do have to use a different lower for .308. I thought one lower was all you need, but apparently if you wanna step to a .308 then you gotta have a lower for it. The .223-5.56 lower runs right around $130-$150. The .308 jumps to $400.
The all put together, you probably know, they're runnin $800-$1700...I think I saw one loaded down with extras for $2400.

Tweetsweet thanks.... an active duty seal was gonna put together the m-4 for me. the 308 would be nice... and the rail systems for them are crazy.
