Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. George Washington

TweetCongrats on the badass rifle! I know you're a happy man.
Have you got to squeeze some rounds off yet?
Tweethope to break her in tomorrow bro!
I am going to try and field strip it tonight and see what im working with.
I am glad you talked me into the wood stock traditional look
Tweetthat Looks great- Youtube is a great place to watch how they are field stripped
Tweetyes sir. I have nothing against plastic furniture, or railed furniture. I just think the authentic [wood furniture look] is more appealing on the Kalash.
As deep said, youtube... the web in general has a plethora of 'how-to's. The AK is really simple once you do it. Just push the button on the back of the receiver to pull the receiver cover off.(the top piece). Then you pull the recoil spring and guide with piston out. Then take the bolt carrier and bolt out. Get all that reddish color grease, that Century or whoever used, off of the bolt-carrier and bolt. Then lube well with your choice gun lubricant.
Tweetgunna check it out on youtube tonight...thanks guys
Tweetthats where I learned on my SKS's
Tweetnice^I dig the Ultimak rail, goldy.
I'm still undecided if i want to use the scope mount on the side of the receiver, or get an Ultimak.
TweetProb i found is that the one dude who used to sell the authentic Russian sights is ill and all the ones floating around are cheap Chinese shit that break easily.
TweetI found one that looks just like the original Russian scope-mount. I forget the name...Firefox??? maybe?..Fire'somethin'...It seems like I remember "fire" as part of the brand.
Tweetcool, thanks!
I doubt these were actual Russian scope mounts. They just look similar to the ones I saw while looking through some pics from a Kalash museum.
