Tweetdo you guys have 4 year degrees in the field? I'm hoping if i get a 4 year degree and have awsome grade, that companies will pay me enough. UCF is a pretty well known school in the tech field, so i'm hoping it will all turn out good.
TweetI'm starting college this summer and i was thinking of studying information technology. I'm worried that there are going to be too many people in the field and the salaries will start to go down. How many of you make 100,000+/year? And what is your job outlook in the field?

TweetNow is not a good time to be trying to break into the IT field bro...
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

Tweetthanx, looks like i'll go to my second choice, doctor
TweetLook bro. Go into another field. I have several friends who have been unemployed for 6 months to a year now because the IT market is so bad. These are VERY bright guys who were making 60K+ salaries before being laid off. I have a few friends who are recruiters and they tell me that for every job they post, they get between 4 and 8 hundred resumes. I have been lucky. I've been caught by 2 layoffs now, but have been lucky enough to recover within just a couple months.
