Tweeti eat so much tuna my urine smell like it!
you can not overdose on tuna!
why not try someting else like canned chicken, boneless breasts,shrimp,eggs,etc...
TweetI dodnt know but I think I read this on FG a couple of months before it went out. There was a question on eating too much tuna can harm you. I read that you can only eat a limited amount if not you can poison your body or something. Do you all think this is B.S. or is it possible. Me I eat around 2 cans of tuna a day for protein. I know I get tired of eating this but f**k it food is food.

TweetTuna has a lot of iodinde (sp?) in it. If eaten excessively, rare casses could result in iodine poisoning. Thats what they were talking about. I personally eat enough tuna to sink a small ship so I don't think its a real big concern.

TweetYea maybe if you eat just one too many cans of tuna you will develop botulism and you will feel a constriction on your lungs, which will make you start to gasp for air, then panic will settle in and your sympathetics will take over causing you to sweat, making your heart beat to increase, causing your pulse rate to increase. Then you fall into a state of axiety and hopefullness in which your parasympatheticswill have to kick in to maintain homeostasis but by then the botulin toxin will be too far imbeded into your circulatory system causing a systemic state of paralysis. You will start to feel paralysis throughout your body.........your airways in your lungs will scream for more air because your primary and secondary muscles of breathing will no longer be functioning. When this happens the oxygen levels in your body drops and your body goes into a state of shock. Now all the O2 in your body is now diverted to your brain for survival. Soon all systems shut down and you are totally paralytic with no heartbeat and just a brain wave beating. You will lay there hopeless waiting for someone to give you CPR, but by then it may be too late resulting in permanent brain damage...if your lucky you will just expire..................
jking bro...............come on bro,, are you kidding me....the only down side of eating too much tuna is that you may develop a rare disease called the "tunavitis"
TweetIf there is a problem with eating too much tuna, it’s a problem I’ll never have. I won’t eat tuna or any seafood no matter how much protein it has in it.
I find the taste, smell, and the texture of all seafood absolutely repulsive; makes me want to vomit just thinking about it.
TweetI did hear the same thing about too much tuna. My dad is a helath freak, he said tuna has some kind of chemical and it is unhealth to have to much. It can poisen you.
I eat 2-3 serving a day and I feel fine. I think it depends how the tuna is made and stored.

TweetTuna bothers some people, and not others. If your ankles swell up, curtail use.
TweetEven if there's an overabundance of iodine in tuna it will do you more good than bad because iodine increases thyroid output thus metabolism is increased.
TweetI have so much tuna in my life that i cant even smell any without getting a little sick. I used to eat 4 cans ed and never got sick so I think its ok to eat a lot but everybodys body is different so it may make some( a few) sick maybe but thats just my opinion.

TweetWait a second guys, think of all the shit that is dumped into the ocean, that goes through these tuna bodies, you are eating that. Mercury levels is part of what your watching out for, if you didn't pay attention in science class mercury is mucho bad and doesn't belong in sniffing distance much less in your body.
I have never had issues eating 3-5 cans a day (I dont eat that much now), but you would probably be better off eating chicken or something else. Frankly I feel a little guilty eating any fish because of all the shit in the ocean. I work by the bay and there are signs of course, not to eat more than one fish a day of your catch, and dont feed any to kids, period. Even in minute amounts, over time you are just adding up the shit in your body that will bring you down.
Tuna is great when you need something in a can to crack open and eat on the spot, otherwise eat something else. Like I said, if you are swelling up in the ankles or other areas abnormally, or you feel sick, you know that you are one of those who are sesative and you need to drop the tuna or curtail dramatically.
