I can't believe it. Here I am, 6 weeks into my 1st cycle with test/deca. Every workout is a new experience in strength gains. Today is chest day. I start with flat benches. I am doing reps with a weight I couldn't max at 4 weeks ago. I get two easy reps (I won't enbarrass myself wuth the actual weight), but feel a little twinge in the R. chest. Probably should dtop right? NOOOO, I have to try to get 1 more....OUCH something tears in my right chest. My spotter has to get the weight off me. I see no bruising, and no deformity of the chest muscle, so I hope its just a muscle.

I am so depressed, I feel like I blew 6 weeks because I am a stupid, overaggressive moron! Why did I have to go for that last rep?! Now I have to leave the gym after barely starting that workout. I am icing the bejesus out of the area. I think I can still do other body parts. Still, even if I recover in the next week, I know this will set back what had been incredible chest progress. I just hope I didn't detach something.

Why am I posting this you ask? I guess I am feeling so depressed and stupid that I had to vent. Has this happened to anybody else?

first of all : go immediatly see a doc or a chiropractor and he'll tell you what to do ...don't worry if don't see any blood under the skin that might be not that bad and you might be able to come back to training very quick after a few days rest, but now you should already be at the doc's office instead of reading that post

      That does suck bro.

How long had you been working out before starting this cycle?

Hopefully all will heal ok and your cycle won't be wasted.

      Good luck!

injuries can be so frustrating, especially during cycle. I had five different injuries during my last cycle, including two bruised ribs. How many more weeks are left in your cycle?

If you really tore something, you blew alot more than 6 weeks man. See a doctor and hope for the best, there is always a comeback if you do things right.

      Good luck!

I have 4 weeks left in the cycle, then 3 weeks before clomid. It has gotten quite sore during the day, but I can still move it. I can still do legs and probaly shoulders. Backis probably OK. Arms may be trouble, I'll find out tomorrow. I'll be checking with an orthopedist today.

I've been working out since high school. I've been getting pretty serious about it the last few years.

Thanks for the support-I think I've finished crying now.

Go to your doc or physiotherapist and get it looked at. You'll know in the morning how severe it really is...you may have just pinched something.

You are so right BASK8KACE. And the pathetic thing is I know that. The minute it happened I thougt this is one of those "my muscle out pulled my tendon" things I've read about. What a moron I am. Now I have this bruise where my pec inserts into the humerus. I've been icing and taking Vioxx.

I'm 46 god damned years old-you'd think I'd know better than behaving like a teenager. (Maybe its the test) or maybe I'm just a bonehead.

whats this laser acupuncture about? What kind of doctor does this? Is it commonly used? Can it help to heal tendons as well?

Sorry for all the questions, but Ive got either a strained or minutely torn tricep tendon right at the elbow connection point and its really slowing me down!!!
