Dana says Henderson is with Strikeforce

TweetDana has said that he is 1000% sure that Henderson has signed with Strikeforce. He said that Dan wanted a 5 million dollar contract!!! The UFC basically told him he was crazy and sent him a contract that they wanted. When he turned it down, Dana told him that he is too busy to deal with this right now. So we may not see Dan in the UFC any more. We probably would have only seen another fight or two out of him anyway.

You are calling Dana a prick when Dan was asking for a 5 million dollar contract....really? Why is it absurd that Dan would only have a few fights left? Anderson is retiring as soon as his contract is up. Dan says all he wants to do is get the title. If he had gotten another shot at Anderson and lost, then he would either have had to move up or give up because he won't get 3 shots. I definitely don't think it was absurd to say that Dan only had a few fights left in the UFC.

Mayweather has his own entertainment company and that is where the numbers are getting skewed, I think. Everyone agrees that the fighters should get paid more, but as far as MMA goes, the UFC pays more than anyone. But for Henderson to come out and ask for 5 million for one fight in the UFC? That's not going to happen my friend. No way is that going to happen! Chuck was getting 250k per fight and that was the high end. What makes him think he can get 5 million for a fight....

TweetI read that in an article. They won't come out and say what the numbers are but Chuck made close to that figure which took into consideration bonuses, ticket sales, etc...And Dana said that Dan wants to be the highest paid UFC fighter....he is not that good.

They are for sure putting together a good roster. I would like to see them stick around...for one, there fights are free!! But yeah, if they watch what they are doing, they could do well. I don't necessarily like how they have some of the fighter entrances. That makes it look like the local shows in my area, but the rest of it is pretty good.

And by the way....keep your eye on Mousasi, that is one bad dude!!!
