TweetWhen I hit the gym I have a plan of attack, between sets my rest time is long enough to take 15-20 deep breaths, Keep my total sets low for each muscle 9-12 and never train longer then 45 min max, most of the time its closer to 30 min. Everybody that knows me respects my time and waits to after my workout to ask questions or say hello. If I see somebody doing something wrong I will help with advice but after I am finished with my workout. If somebody asks me for a spot I will never say no just ask they be ready to go. This might sound like I am that (muscle head dick at the gym). I am just there to do my thing and leave.
Gym's need to ban cell phones also.

Tweetthat's who i train with every day. i also dont speak to anyone until i am done or close to being done and unlike you i will not spot anyone that i do not know. i saw a good friend of mine get hurt really bad trying to spot someone trying to do way more than they should have been. so to me if i dont know you or what you are capable of i am not going to risk hurting myself or you. so call me a dick i dont care, i am there to make improvements to myself only and that's my time.

TweetI think cell phones are ok for that 30sec-1min break between exercises as long as its to log your reps/sets/weights etc. Other than that.. Im with you!
