my friend just finished a cycle of sus 6 - 8 weeks ago and is now starting a cycle of deca for 8 and mixing in some EQ half way through. His question was about his weight, he thought sus put on too much unnecessary size and was hoping that deca wouldn't put on too much extra weight and then was hoping the combo of deca and EQ would cut him up. Does this sound right? also and advice that you might give on food and amount of cardio since he does alot of sprints i said to add in extra distance running? any help would be greatly appreciated.

If he's not wanting to bulk then Deca is probably the wrong choice for him anyhow. Yeah, you can, technically, cut with anything, but Deca is going to put water on him... Wish I had some right now, my damn elbow is killing me and the deca would pad out my joints. But to answer your question, that definitely doesn't sound right. There's not really a good reason to add the eq that far in, he'd be wasting it. Yamaha was right when telling you that the Deca should be run longer than 8 weeks, he should go at least ten to get the full effects of the drug, 12 or more would be better...

from the looks of his choice of cycle(combined), doesn't look like he knows much at all. sus for 6-8wksthrow in EQ halfwayand wants to use deca and not put on too much weight............tell him to read and search on here more.

Drop the EQ or start it early.

Deca is great for cutting, i don't care what anyone says. It helps me retain a lot more muscle when I use something that's a stronger anabolic than a stronger androgen.

I don't know if I would recommend the long distance stuff. Maybe an increase in the number of sprints. I've seen arguements both ways, but I've seen several studies comparing sprinting to long distance and the sprint groups tend to lose more subcutaneous fat than the long distance group who just tend to lose overall weight, including a little more muscle. Again, knowone knows the answer to this. But look at Michael Johnson! That guy is SWOLE and RIPPED!

swole and ripped. I agree you can cut using test and deca. You can control your body fat through diet and exercise. I can get very lean while on but prefer to bulk and then diet. It is hard to check your ego when you diet and strength goes down but, remember what your goal is and forget about the weight and reps go for the pump with strict form.
