TweetNo major piercings for me, but have a few tattoos. I had my ears pierced back in the day when it was more the style for younger guys lol. But took them out years ago as I've gotten older.
TweetFuzo, and I, were at a Tatt place last night looking for a new one for him. We had a sudden urge to both get a piercing but decided not to. When I turned 40 I went to get my belly pierced and the girl talked me out of it,lol. Fuzo had both nips pierced at one time when we were younger. When he told me he was doing this I though WTF?. It actually looked ok since he was big and ripped. Then he had to get an MRI and out they went for good. I told him last night that I am pretty sure our daughter will be wanting tattoos when she is old enough. He says not, lol.
Any of you have, or have had, any piercings?

Tweetabsolutely not. i for one dont like pain that i inflict on myself for no given reason lol. another thing is i am of the mindset if i can not cover it up for a job interview or to go see a person that may not agree with that action i wont do it. i am not a person that really gives two craps about what others think about me or my actions but on the other hand i dont want to close any doors to opportunities because of my what i look like i can cover up my muscles and do so but pieces of metal all over the place or tatts below my elbows have always been a no go. well other than my wedding ring i had put on. i think it looks tacky on most people anyway

TweetI had one ear pierced prior to going into the Marines. Never anything pierced since. I have 3 tats right now and looking for what I will get next. As Guns mentioned mine are all in places I can "put away" for work or job interviews
TweetI have no tatts. thinking of getting a third eye on my forehead

TweetI hate to sound ignorant but is that like the dot in the middle of the forehead that is big in some cultures?
TweetLMFAO I'm soooo relieved, lol. I just didn't want to offend anyone. You got me!!
Tweetlol, I am curious what the dot stands for? I have to ask my nice Indian neighbors

TweetBindu is considered the point at which creation begins and may become unity. It is also described as "the sacred symbol of the cosmos in its unmanifested state". Bindi is a bright dot of red colour applied in the center of the forehead close to the eyebrow worn in Indian Subcontinent (particularly amongst Hindus in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka)[2] and Southeast Asia among Bali and Javanese Hindus. Bindi in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism is associated with Ajna Chakra and Bindu is known as the third eye chakra. Bindu is the point or dot around which the mandala is created, representing the universe. Bindi has historical and cultural presence in the region of Greater India.
Three ear piercings
PAIN DON'T HURT
TweetI had a bunch of them in my 20's. ears, nipples, nape, tongue, nasal septum.....and frankly getting the piercing is the best part. maintaining them, lifting with them, watching out for them, keeping them clean, it was all a big pain. no piercings anymore. all ink.
TweetI had my girlfriends name tattooed on my calf and she got my name tattooed on her pelvis. We did it for Valentines day. It was very romantic. Then we had to cover them up after we broke up LOL
Tweetmy wife and i have our names tatted on our wedding ring fingers. i cant wear a band but she still does. i have been married for almost 16 years to the same lady. so i say i am good to go with the name tat haha
