How many of you take HCG for pct?

TweetClomid works well in blocking the negative feedback of estrogens, to stimulate the release of LH. In turn, it signals the testicles to increase Testosterone. However, if estrogen levels are significantly decreased post cycle, then it may appear that this won’t help the production of endogenous testosterone as well as some may think.



HCG on the other hand, bombards the body with extra LH. You now have endogenous and exogenous LH activity, which would in turn cause an increase in Testosterone production.

Tweeti agree with kz1 i use it at 500iu 2X a week during cycle and 500iu ed the last 10 days of my cycle before PCT.

Tweetyea i don't totally agree with swale 100% because i think it should be stopped for 2 weeks during 12 week cycles but his method works. I just worry about shutdown. JG bro thats a lot of HCG, but if it ain't broken don't fix it.

kz1, what dosage would you recommend during a cycle of 400mg Test and 400mg EQ?

This is how it will go, unless I hear negative feedback:

Equipoise - 400mg/wk for 12wks


Test enanthate - 400mg/wk 10wks



Run ldex or aroma .25mg ed throughout.



Run HCG 500IU 2x/week throughout cycle.



Start clomid pct 300-100-50 for three weeks, two weeks after last inject of test as follows:

day 1: 300mg Clomid
day 2-10 100mg Clomid
day 11-21 50mg Clomid

Also Organon's insert says to use at lest 500IU three times ew for atrophy and if it does not help to increase to 1000IU three times ew. With your cycle i do not see the need for hcg at all, unless you want to run it 500IU 3 times ew for the two wks prior to pct. There is no need to waste your $ running it thru your cycle, as this cycle is mild androgen.

Okay, to eliminate any further quibble over semantics…

HCG mimics the bodies own natural LH. HCG and LH work through the same mechanism. We are “Bombarding” our bodies with high levels of LH activity, endogenously and exogenously.
Mick, so you would recommend eliminating it altogether for this cycle, even for one in their late 30's?

TweetIam not really quibbling it is just a fact that it stimulates the pituitary and in tricking the brain receptors into producing LH, but sometimes it takes awhile and when it does it is not really an overabundance, especially if you are not producing it due to low free testosterone levels or because of a previous cycle. Bro, iam 46yrs and have done the test/eq cycle many times without the use of hcg. HCG would be more appropriate for a cycle of test and deca or even test/tren, because of its effect on the testicular axis that causes problems with atrophy. This is why i say, if you have to use it, use it for the two wks or so after your last inject, but before pct. Everyones body reacts differently to aas, so it is hard for me to draw a conclusion without knowing your history and if you are prone to being shut down hard from any aas or possible gyno, but with my experience with a test/eq cycle, all my reactions have been extreame hornyness, lol and the hunger later with the eq. After my last inject i will not do anything and then start pct two wks after my last inject of testosterone and run clomid 100mg for 7 days and the rest of the 28-30 days 50mg and iam good to go. Just trying to save ya some $ and using up your product. Id really save the hcg for a more harsher cycle. Like i said if you a pent on using it, use it for the two wks prior to pct @ 500IU 3 times ew and stop when you start pct. Just my suggestion from experience.

Tweetno need for hcg with that cycle really imo. but if you wanna use it and its such a light cycle i would go with a light dose of hcg as you won't need much. mick knows what he is talking about though, but i still fear shutdown. just a fear I have and Im very conservative with hcg and all AAS for that matter. Personally if it was me I would follow swale's pct protocal to the T for that cycle. jmo though.
