TweetThanks, these sound good! We will have to try them!
TweetI eat these as a snack during the day or in the morning at 4:30-5am for a little something before my workout. Helps to have a little something in the morning when popping ECA. Takes a little time to master but my wife has it down pack. Here's the recipe, try em.
1.5 Cups 100% rolled oats (may need to add more to obtain consistency like brownies)
1 Cup water
5 Egg whites
3 Scoops Protein powder – Vanilla
4 Splenda packets
1 Tbl. spoon Olive oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix Water, egg whites, Splenda and Olive oil in large bowl. Add Oats and Protein powder and mix well with wooden spoon. Spray muffin pans well with non-stick spray. Evenly fill pan to yield approximately 8 muffins. Bake for 10 minutes until golden on outside rim. You can bake less/more depending on texture preference. I prefer a little less for moistness and to allow for re-heating in microwave.
Approximate nutritional value per serving (4 muffins):
Protein 48 grams
Good Carbohydrates 40 grams
Fat (saturated) 1 gram

TweetDamn you for puttin this up here IM ON LOW CARB!!! lol sounds terrific tho
TweetI've been on low to practically no carb diets. However for the past few years when getting into the hard-core routine of diet and training I find I can still eat oatmeal, brown rice and sweet potatoes. They are good carbs and go right through you.
