heard an interesting point of view today...here in La we're voting to amend the state constitution Saturday to define marriage as a union between 1 man and 1 woman. i was all fired up today talking it up, getting folks out to vote and a friend of mine reminded me how ridiculous it is the we are voting on something that God has ordained. this is total insanity. the point finally came down to being that in this world we as Christians need to make a statement that we believe that there are absolute truths..and absolute right and wrong. in my opinion, this is one of the issues that falls into an absolute right vs wrong category. everything in the secular view point is relative...there is no absolute right or wrong. in my view point there are absolute rights and wrongs.

    Re: marriage

I'm with you bro! But let me take this a step further. Even if someone doesn't believe in Jesus, or God even. They still have to look at the natural order of nature and survival of a species. Scientifically speaking a species will only prevail if it can eat, protect itself and, most importantly, reproduce. Now, tell me how a man with a man or a woman with a woman in a monogamus relationship is supposed to reproduce? They can't, not naturally. Especially a man with a man, hell, they can't even get artificially inseminated. How can any union of a species that can't reproduce call themselves a "natural union"? I'm not talking about a man and a woman who might have some form of infertility but the fact that no matter how well things work you can't make offspring. It's not natural, not by God and certainly not by science.

So, as you put it, wrong vs right. There is no way around it.

Ancient Rome? No, we are becoming Sodom and Gamora, and we all know what God did to them. We need to govern ourselves more wisely. Many people think they can do what they want and face the music later. You never now when your time will be and I think the people who live like that are playing Russian Ruelette.

Absoluely right, but I don't see much difference between the two. Both fell and fell hard. About never knowing when your number is up, that's something that's always confused me. Most Christians that you talk to are so caught up in the end times that they often forget that "their time" will most likley come before the world's.

                Wait,

A radio animator, named Jeff Fillion from CHOI FM. That guy and another one of the station are now sentenced by the court not to be on air anymore. And I agree with the government they are idiots who said the worst thing, claiming the freedom of speech, but when you are airing at 9 Am and saying you want to rape a woman, and most of your vocabulary is swearing and retarded slangs...

anyway, he said something funny that I kinda agree and what he said was one of the thousand things he said on air that the gov and MANY people dislike.

What the hell they want, these queers? So two guys with goat-tees, they french eachothers, and get married in five minutes and they have the rights of married couples. Will we give them permission to do propaganda in schools so they can increase their number. Require a number of queers in TV shows, will they do the same thing as goverment organisations.

I am hoping that the Quebecers can win this one for us normal folk. It will then give us more ammo to fight in the Supreme Court of Canada, and strike down this stupid act passed by Ontario's legislature. As permissive as most Quebec society may seem they sure do have some serious core values. I have donated some money to the cause of striking this down, I don't think homosexuals should have the right to be married, if the government feels that 2 queers living together should be entitled to share benefits so be it, but allowing them to have a sacred ceremony called marriage turned into an abomination is sickening to me. I for one am fighting it with all my available resources.
