well I went and practiced yesterday evening, and got better on the new bike. I will now clutch 'em up in first, then click second if I can keep riding it out. But I think I like to bounce it up with the throttle to do a stand up in 2nd gear. I don't know why I never tried clutching it up in 1st before. That's definitely more controlled.

The first couple of stoppies were like I'd never done one before. I hardly got it off the ground, but by the 3rd or 4th I was rolling them out nicely, until I came down crooked and dropped it and broke my right footpeg in half. That's never happened, but I've only dropped 2 stoppies in my whole sportbiking career<--...but anyway, the peg hit the ground perfect, so instead of folding up, it broke. I wanted to finish the day with a clean one so I did one more sweet stoppie and balanced it for a few seconds once I came to a stop, so I brought it home after that. With a few wheelies on the trip home of coarse. My last one was when I turned down the street that takes me to the end of my house to my little path to bring the bike around back to bring it into the fence and in the den. I live on a corner lot.. but anyway, my next door neighbor on that road rides, and he was out doing his yard so he came walking out toward the road with his thumbs up. He rides a Ninja500 2-cylinder..but he hates it ever since we traded bikes for a minute 4 yrs ago. He was like, "what in the hell?!!..How can there be that much difference between a 500 and 600?!"..so, I explained what was going on. But, back to yesterday, he asked if I would do it again, so I walked it back down the street and did a little baby stoppie at the stop sign because I didn't have enough room to set up for it. I gotta be going about 50mph, and set up to throw down a good stoppie. But then, I turned back out on the main road, because I had to go that way, But I walked one to my road,(the actual street that my driveway is on) and some guy in a little black Eclipse or something was holding his fist up out the window grinning from ear to ear. Everybody loves a wheelie. My neighbor walked over and said 'cool' and the stoppy was awesome...I was like, no no, that was a little tinker stoppie...but thanks...if he'll ever come ride with me, he'll see one. I swear. I guess I better not mention the track. That seems to be what turns him off I've figured out.

But, I was pretty erked about the footpeg, but I have a brand new stock rear-set in route. Should be here tomorrow. I need to get a good set of rear sets. That's the way to go. Then ya don't have that fold up bullshyt, and they're like slider protection. They're made out of harder better metal and like I said, they don't fold under pressure.
Vortex, vortex vortex vortex!!! is the way to go. They got the best everything. I'm going all Vortex. If ya don't know, now ya know.

yeah man, they do they're homework. I love their products. I'm going with their levers as well. Their levers don't even touch if you go down, so that's great. And I didn't know, but their shorty levers even have breakaway tips just in case, but with them not even making contact, you're all good. They're tops.
