TweetIs your mouse wireless?
Tweetwhen I leave the computer and come back say a hour or 2 later when I move the mouse or click the space bar the monitor doesnt come on right away,theres a delay and my mouse arrow doesnt move either. sometimes 20 seconds. now ive been on other computers and when I mover the mouse,boom the screen comes on. any ideas. The monitor is not bad that i'm sure of

TweetIs your computer set to hibernate after a certain period of time? If so, this is why it takes it a few seconds to respond, It is starting the programs and accessories back up.
Push it, Pull it, Rack it. Repeat untill wide!!

TweetGo to control panel, click on personalize icon. This should take you to your screen options. I use Vista but use the classic view. I hope its the same for you. LMK if you need any help.
TweetSome wireless mice will also turn off automatically after a certain amount of inactivity - usually 5 minutes, my wife's comp had a wireless mouse that did that. You just have to click one of the buttons to wake it up.
