TweetFor anyone who suffers from excess acid (heartburn, gerd...) people usually overlook the most effective anticid in your home. Baking soda. Yes, sodium bicarbonate. Next time you have an acidy problem put away the tums, rolaids... and take 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and mix it in about 4 to 6 ounces of water and drink. It's going to taste salty and not pleasant to drink but it will neutralize acid better than 20 tums or rolaids. Cheap and effective.

TweetHahaha..baking soda...like duct tape thats one of those things that has about 10,000 uses...I used to use it to brush my teeth...and for cutting acid, it is top- knotch...watch it sizzle on your battery terminals!...Put the shit in your shoes...Put it in the fridge...drink the shit ...put it on an itchy ass-hole...Pack your face in it to get rid of wrinkles...put it in a load of laundry...what else?...lol
