Tweet^haha, I saw that. Didnt castro recently admit that the system didnt work? It took them this long to wake up? Surely Castro lived like a king while the rest of the country lived in cardboard shacks without plumbing.
TweetYou're shittin me!
Exhibit...(ran out of letters)
So Cuba is broke. Their laying-off government officials.

TweetThey are going to ease restrictions On private business to try to help employ them. I bet Obongo cried in the white house when he read that in the paper.
They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.
TweetI wouldn't doubt if we ease our sanctions on them, with this bunch at the controls.
Is that what you are saying rc10?
TweetWe should have eased sanctions on them a long time ago. We're just waiting for Castro to die and then they will be lifted. We put sanctions on them during the cold war but we've been dealing with Russia for years. It makes no sense to have held on for this long.
TweetI don't even remember why Cuba has all the trade sanctions. Other than Castro is a dipshit, but I can't remember exactly what the course was for the cut-off.
TweetKennedy cut them off during the cold war and basically won't them them or us trade together until Castro is dead. The people of Cuba suffered greatly because of that.
Here's a link for ya.

TweetIf they built resorts there and opened it up, it would be the #1 vacation destination for Americans. I am sure the beaches there have to be incredible. They could completely rebuild and prosper off tourism.
Could you imagine the Bay Of Pigs becoming the top spring break party spot for college students? LOL

TweetThis is true, if Americans were allowed to travel there freely. Like I said, the trade embargo and sanctions put on Cuba have hurt the citizens of Cuba more than anybody. I find it repugnant to make a general population suffer over political ideologies.
TweetHavana would become a Mecca of tourism...It could be like Vegas..I might even move there..LOL
Tweet"My African "Friend" Buffett
Damn good tune about a weekend in Havana. That may be Haiti. I'd have to hear it again. Cool tune though.
Dowload it. Listen to the words. That's Buffett's early years. When he was damn good.
