TweetIf McCain runs again you can rest assured the Republicans will not win the presidency. McCain never has been a good presidential candidate. It doesn't matter whether we think he would be better or not, he plain and simply ran a horrible campaign both times he ran, and he is not a good speaker. Additionally, he is a progressive, and you do not want a progressive candidate, or at least I hope you don't. John McCain is a good man, and I believe he means well, but his politics are completely out of step with the Republican Party's roots. The worst thing about McCain is that he supports the green movement, which is the biggest threat to liberty. Newt Gingrich does as well, thus I hope he does not become the next president. The green movement is something most people just don't understand; the progressive movement is also something most people don't get. McCain is openly supportive of both, so prepare for retracted liberties if he ever is to become president. I don't know who would be a good Republican candidate other than Ron Paul; sadly, there just aren't many left in the Republican Party that hold the Constitution as the document to base our government actions from. Gingrich will talk a good game and probably will run for the job. I predict that he would do a good job with the economy, but I fear he will push the global warming movement even further. Name me a Republican besides Ron Paul who is not a progressive or supporter of the green movement because I can't think of any. Therefore in the end we're screwed either way but at least we may get a revived economy at the expense of fewer liberties due to the green movement and increased nanny state. But anyone will be better than Obama. I don't think there are any other likely presidential candidates that resent America as much as he does. Even Hillary would be better than Obama, and that is saying a lot.
