Tweeti go to golds gym a block from my work ..i think i pay 35 a month but my work pays half of the cost. nice benefit. don't really get anything special at golds. you have to pay extra for towels and tanning rooms.
TweetHow much do you pay per month? What kind of contract (term) are you locked into? What do you get for your money?
I am looking into gyms because in 3 months my new daughter will evict me from my weight room.

Tweet^^ damn thats a great deal badasz! Where in chi is that? I had a similar deal when I lived in chi at Cheetah gym in bucktown- loved it and had 1/2 off cus I signed up when it first opened
Tweet$31 A MONTH FOR ME AND MY GIRL ITS AT THE YMCA THEY HAVE EVERYTHING GOLDS DOES SO IM NOT PAYING TRIPLE THE PRICE.
Tweet22.95/month for me and my wife!
They have about 60 pieces of cardio (not that I do that shit, that what my mountain bike is for), tons of Hammer Strength, A bunch of Life Fitness selectorized equimpment, smith mach, leg press, basically everything one would need. The only down side is that the db's only go up to 100 lbs but they aren't targeting the meatheads. So I like it. Anything that allows me to need more weight than the 100's I either go really slow or I use the barbell.
We pay month to month so there is no minimum contract terms.
TweetI KNOW THE OWNER OF GOLDS AND HE HOOKED ME UP $29.99 a month but regulary is $55 a month
TweetWHAT BIGMIKE MEANT TO SAY IS IM SLEEPING WITH THE OWNER OF GOLDS SO HE'S HOOKING ME UP.
TweetOur DBells go up to 250 - not that I need that at all or even close yet though
