Need advice on doing a website, please!

TweetJust something simple for now. Was thinking of doing a do it yourself site. Someone said to do it thru Godaddy.com...I dont know anything about it, really. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

TweetI use Godaddy to register domain names and web hosting. Their web hosting and domain registration fees are very inexpensive. I think Godaddy does have a simple web design software. I'm just not familiar with it.

I use Adobe Golive is for more advanced level web designs. I think they have discontinued it and is now promoting Dreamweaver. I've also used MicroSoft FrontPage for simple web designs.
