TweetRule of thumb is stay off just as long as you were on. But minimum 6 weeks.
Tweethow long do some of you go between cycles, as in the shortest amount of time and the longest? I guess it really depends on what type of cycle you are running? My gear sponsor is getting an order together and I should have my next cycle supply's in around 3-4 weeks and my PCT ends in two weeks from Sunday.
Possible needed info, my first cycle was a 10 week 500mg split/week Test E. only.
Also, what suggestions for a second cycle, i am thinking of running Test/Deca?? any suggestions?

TweetWhy go off if your going back on in 5 weeks? Why do that to yourself?
Test and deca would be a good second cycle. In my opinion you should go longer then 10 weeks with this second cycle.
TweetMy friend said when he ran test/deca he felt F-ing great! and he sized up pretty good on his cycle. I am running a 4 week PCT and it ends in two weeks, how long should i wait after the PCT ends? 6 weeks?
I'm just ready to run another one b/c I seen slight results on the basic test cycle and I want more!!!

TweetSame here. I've been doing test E/deca cycles for years and have seen great results. I've considered replacing E with sus soon.
TweetSome questions?
You said you saw slight results, what do you mean by that? On a 500mg test E cycle you should have had better than "slight" results. If your results were low on that cycle then I would say there are other issues that need to be addressed besides your off time between cycles.
How is your diet? Are you actually eating enough during your cycle? On a 500mg test E cycle if it was your first one you should have seen a 15-25lb increase in weight of which part of that would be lost during your PCT.
Are you logging all your meals and using a written down diet plan for gaining during a cycle? Proper diet is more important than in most cases than how much gear you are using or how long you are on or off cycle.
just trying to relive my younger years in the gym all while being in my upper 50's
TweetDiet is key! I don't care how much you bust azz in the gym, if you don't eat enough you will see poor results. I try to think about it this way, eating is way easier then all that heavy lifting. Why would you do all that work and not give your body the food to get your work out of it.

Tweetmy diet was pretty solid during my cycle, alluprbdy gave me a pretty good diet plan and I ran with it, granted toward the end of my cycle we got hit with the tornado's and i was without power and slacked off a little, since then my diet hasn't been perfect and i was gaining fat around my core also. Can someone point me in a good diet direction?? diet is extremely hard for me and right now I just want to loose the fat on my core and start fresh on my next cycle.
I know everyone is different and what works for one might not work for the other, I am just trying to find a diet that I won't starve myself with that will allow me to keep muscle and burn fat quicker, my cardio is pretty good right now and if i can get a diet going then i think i can get some good results in before my next on cycle.
thanks for all the comments and suggestions guys/gals, keep em coming!

TweetYou definitely do't want to hold back at the dinner table. Regardless of whatever...If you're taking hormones that build lean muscle mass & burn fat, i.e. test, then you'll wanna go hard with the food intake as well. Just adjust the type of food for solid mass w/ very little fat, no salt. (you'll get plenty sodium if you're eating good). I have to hit the complex carbs and lean protien like it's the cool thing to do. I end up around 3500-4000 good calories a day when I'm eating right. If you have some soft areas that could use some trimming-up, then hit cardio for 30-45min/day to burn the burn & the simple carbs out. If you only saw slight results from 500mg test/wk, something is way off. It's blatant obvious when you have everything in tune. Training, supps, food, & sleep.
Once you get tuned into what it takes to achieve your goals, results will happen without fail if you go hard. Also, I would add another month or so to your cycle cause your body is just jumping off at about 5-6wks. Give it a couple months to get acquainted with the new gains.
Test is always a must for me. It is the base for keeping your body's natural balance in check, & is naturally needed to grow. and it burns fat. You always wanna train to & eat for your goals. And if you're boosting your hormones that build mass, you gotta shovel the food in for the body to use. Loosing fat while training to build will happen. But don't hold back on healthy, low-fat eating ever. Eat more, & 4-5 times as opposed to a small breakfast, big lunch & dinner. You'll get your metabolism moving the more you feed it to burn, & the harder you train. Train hard everyday.
TweetYou really should ALWAYS include an anobolic like deca or EQ in EVERY cycle.
Deca is approximately 4 times as anabolic as test. I will bet dollars to doughnuts that if you incorparate 300-600mg a week of deca or eq along with your test, will get better than 2 times the gains seen in your first one.

TweetHell First, I might feel like the biggest kid on the block after my next cycle then! My goals are very simple, I know i will never be that cut up, award winning BB and i cool with that, i just want some solid deffinition and minimal B.F. Getting a diet that works is the tough one, plus i have a hard time with 100% dicipline when it comes to staying away from garbage food, although I try to rarely ever eat at a fast food place that serves only fried foods and unhealthy looking junk. PATIENCE, that is exactly what i am missing..... damnit!

Tweettime on = time off.........for minimum time between cycles. But I have gone a 1-2 years before cycling again
