TweetNursing school is cool , there's always gonna be a need. The thing is Byron, nursing isn't something you just kinda decide to do ya know what I'm sayin? It can be a very tough job, ask McKenzie about it sometime. It does kinda seem like your grabbin at straws here man. IMO, what you need to do is sit down, write out some goals, short and long term. Think about yourself as an old man and what you want to be able to tell your kids or grands that you've done with your life. Think about the people you admire most, why you admire them and are you striving to become someone that you yourself admire. This is gonna be tougher than you think, but well worth it. Good luck man.
Tweetfind somthing and stick with it. you will be 30 (i know your still a pup but it flys by)before you know it and you dont wanna be still looking for your place
go to school and put all you have into it.
TweetPick something stable, where you can earn decent money and not have to worry about paying bills. The nursing thing is very hard. Make sure it's something you really want to do!
TweetMy gf has her BSN nursing degree. Like Kite said, nursing is a VERY stressful job depending on what type of nurse you are. I am sure Mckenzie has a wealth of info. on this subject. Real estate is a good career too, but it is one of those things that you have to be very self motivated to do. I've sat for the real estate exam while going through college and pay a fee every year to keep my liscense on an inactive status, mainly because I eventually want to have my own resedential construction company one day and buy and sell property myself. The others above offered great advice on trying to set some goals for yourself and then see where that takes you.
TweetNothing against nursing but if you are a licensed Realtor then I would suggest you learn to master that trade. With the market the way it is, become a buyers agent. This way your time isn't tied up in homes that aren't selling. You can make a ton of money in Real Estate if you are willing to put in the time. And, nursing is not easy by any means. You will have to go to school for a while. By the time you get out of school, you could have established yourself as a premier Realtor and be making over $20k a month. I know Realtors that pull down over $500k a year and that's after they pay their secretary, assitants and whoever else they have to pay. But, they busted their butt to get there.
