Holy shit check this guy out. This could happen to anyone. I am so glad I dont take anything . But ive been prescribed percocet before for injuries and trust me, I know all about jonesin for that shit after a week or 2 on them. That was years ago thank goodness. That is some evil shit. The worst thing I ever took was Oxycontin. It was like it opened my brain up to the most depressing world on earth. After one night of oxycontin I told the docs in the hospital "Whatever you do, dont ever put me on that again!"...I think I might have even seen Satan himself while I was on Oxy. LOL
Anyway, be careful if you ever have to take this . Get the fuck off it as soon as possible. This shit is killing people left and right

Geez man , I wouldn't wish that upon anyone . Addiction is a tough thing . I went thru an alcohol thing , it wasn't as serious as the dude in the story , but enough to distance me from the world .
I thank god I have family that helped me and took care of me . It's an everyday struggle . Gotta just keep pushing forward , and not go backwards !!!

i am big time anti pain meds person. my grand father was crushed in the coal mines when i was about 5 or 6 years old and after numerous surgeries and living on a variety of pain meds he passed away much to young a couple of years back. now i will say that seeing his injuries and what he went through some people have to take these things for life. it did shorten his life and not really do to much for him at all in reality. so imho if you need it in the begining then by all means take it but you better have a plan to deal with it in the long run because if you are taking it to feel good you are both screwed and not going to last very long. fortunately for me i dont like the way it makes me feel and i only need a small amount when i need them. so i guess i am blessed with that

addiction is a *****. I am lucky, I hate the feeling of opioids. but I have people close to me that could easily fall into that and battle alcoholism for years.

I have a real good friend who went to a dentist for simple tooth extraction 12 years ago. It got infected and caused an infectiion in his skull bone that has never gone away.He has had numerous surgeries on his skull to scrape out the infection. He literally lives on percocet 24/7. ...If he goes a couple hours without he starts tweaking and going through withdrawals. Thats years and years of taking opiods. All because of a routine dental procedure that went wrong. He cant work. He sits at home all day taking percocet. It really makes him act like a damn weirdo sometiimes but I can understand that he is in too much pain not to take them. Sad as hell.
