TweetIs it only when your on cycle or all the time now?
It's common for some while on cycle.
TweetI was just diagnosed with sleep apnea. I never had it until I started taking steroids and really started to put on some size. The doctor told me I should loose 20% of my body weight, that kind of goes against what I’ve been training all these years for. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

TweetI THINK YOU NEED A SECOND OPINION.
"WHERE THE MIND GOES, THE BODY WILL FOLLOW."
"I THINK I CAN TAKE YOU"," YA, KEEP LOOKING"
"LEAD, FOLLOW OR GET OUT OF THE WAY!"

PS - sorry to hear that bro.
TweetI guess I know quit a bit about sleep apnea...earlier this year I underwent a sleep study review. The outcome was 79 episodes of apnea an hour. In fact the study was suspposed to be for 8hrs, but just 2 hours into it the technician halted the test and said he had to apply treatment because "I scared the Hell out of him".
I'm 5'10" @ 285lbs, and I hadn't done a cycle yet... To begin with, my family doctor said it was my weight. So I went to a Ear, Nose, Throat specialist for a second opinion, he discovered my tonsils were oversized, I still had adnoids, a deviated syptom, and a lengthy soft pallet.
So what I'm thinking is that the gear may have brought out something that was already there. I snore like a damn bear, I done it for years...that should have been my first clue that something was wrong. If it goes on untreated this is what going to happen, because it happened to me.
1. You won't go into REM sleep, a time where the body repairs itself
2. Hormone levels will drop, no test, no thyroid, no adrenaline
3. You can kiss all your gains goodbye, because your body will need all the nutrients to resupply the body
4. Gain fat, your body goes into survival mode and we all know what happens, everything you eat gets stored
So get it check, but go to a specialist in the field of apnea.
Tweeti would definetly try a cpap machine...you will sleep like a baby, plus you r blood oxygen level will be dramaticly higher
Tweetcareful with this bro, i had a family member die from this, he used to wear this sleep apnea mask thing while he slept to and took it off one nite in his sleep- died that nite.
Tweeti didnt know what this was so i looked it up, just in case you were interestedOriginally Posted by pigmeat

TweetJust recently my last sleep study showed that I have whats called Hypopnea (I still have to meet with the Dr for the final word though) episodes where my breathing lowered but never stopped. The study was split into 4 hrs w/o CPAP and 4 hrs w/CPAP, I found out the level that my CPAP is too low. In fact the tech kept bumping up the pressure until my snoring ceased at around 14cm of air.
I won't lie the surgery's suck, but very necessary in my case.
TweetThats Def. scary stuff. Id take the doc.'s advice for sure. and be sure to get several opinions before doing anything.
