Does caffiene help you concentrate?

TweetCaffiene makes me wired a bit...I think I'm just a bit sensitive to it. Coffee especially. Two cups and it's got me shaking like taking a few ECA's.

Also it makes me feel dehydrated which is normal because it is a diuretic.

are you talking about caffine pills or coffee?? as a matter a fact I think Im thinking this poll was about coffee not caff pills ........ oh well........ I love coffee

Tweetcaffiene will help people with add/adhd concentrate, or for that matter almost any stimulant. I have used ephedrine, clen, caffiene, albuteral, ritalin etc. but there is a new med on the market by Eli Lilly called strattera that beats the stimulants hands down. I have several friends on it for add/adhd and bipolar disorder. When talking to your doc about it your going to have to be upfront about the amounts of stimulants you have taken in the past, especially amphetamines. there is not scientific research to prove this yet, but those of us that take strattera have found that the more stimulants you used in the past, the higher your dose will need to be. the maximum fda approved dose is 120 mgs a day. And I know several people who are on that dose. strattera is a norepherine reuptake inhibitor. just in case you were looking for an alternative.

TweetWow, this is really strange My doc just put me on strattera today for ADD. I use the first dose tomorrow. Starts out at 25mg the first 4 days to test my reaction. After that I've only got 40mg pills until my next visit, but if I'm not feeling it them I guess I'll just use 2 in the morning for 80mg total. I'm glad to hear you give it such high praise.
