Tweetoh yeah. Bush's legacy will find difficulty even being uttered for many yrs.
democracy must spread the globe for everything to fall in-line as needed.
Tweetbush always said, his legacy has yet to be written
egypt is the reason why, u can give him some credit on this one, he preached democracy in the middle east
iraq, working on it still, halfway there, they do have a democratic constitution they wrote in 05 i believe
egypt, has tipped, and peacefully too boot
u get a few more too topple and she's good as gone for the whole region
not saying won't be 5-10 years of problems yet the momentum and direction would be extremely clear
who woulda thunk it, a facebook revolution, story behind it is pretty wild, like a grain of sand, one beating too many and the whole thing goes she-bang

TweetI would prefer to see countries setting up Constitutional Republics like we did here when the founders designed our Republic. Democracies are one of the most dangerous forms of governments and that is why the word Democracy does not appear anywhere in our Constitution. Though I am glad to see Egypt attempting to start a Democracy, I just fear it will lead to socialism just like our Democracy is doing. There is no more Republic here because the pathetic scumbag politicians and judges don't abide by the Constitution. There is a reason the leaders of the world want Democracies, because they know majority will rule without any regard to a Constitution or individual and minority rights.
On another note, Trip, why do you always use two "o's" on the word "to"? I'm sure you are aware of the three spellings of the word and which requires two and which one. Sorry bro, had to mention it...lol.
Good post too...lol. No seriously, I think you have a valid point on this issue.
Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. George Washington

Tweetlol, i've had the too problem forever, lot's of folks mention it, i'm an engineer by trade so spelling is not a priority for me
iran is unique in that religion trumps government, plus it has money from oil, it is a huge mess...............when the revolt happened it was being pissed off over elections, plus, government had pulled subsidies on many item cause oil went from 140-50 bucks, now with oil at 90 gubment has money...............in iran military supports religion over government, they will shoot there citizens...............in iran i'd say if first u don't succeed try try again, something will happen, just don't know when or why and the usa will have almost nothing to do with it most likely
TweetI'm sorry to burst your bubble but the middle east will never have peace...doesn't mean we shouldn't strive for it but every major religion in the world predicts the middle east will never have peace.
TweetThey had a chance until Jimmy Carter ousted the Shaw of Iran. Then came the terrorist regimes, the hatred for Israel, Sharia Law, etc. All thanks to U.S. President Jimmy Carter. Interesting how that worked out for us.

Tweetwell, imho, with the world now connected communication wise, young people realize there are alternatives out there and that fighting over bs is not an economic plus, it creates too much risk for capital, you're discovering that people around the world are all the same, they want a good job, some safety and a future for their siblings
TweetI hope they are discovering that, trip. And I believe they are for the most part. But, that smaller portion of tribal, cause shit with everyone & hate America, e.g. entire middle east, political climate in China. Those seem to be the more motivated. Ya know, the ones that get handed an AK when they're 8yrs old, and instilled that we're the devil. If we continue to be so politically correct, with the bs "accept all" mentality. We become less aware. I'm not concerned for the majority of our well being here in the U.S. because of the 'awareness'? of the fundamentally minded,<--does that work?lol.
As naive as it sounds. I believe "that won't happen here." But, we will watch as we're stripped of what made America great. which sucks ass.
