I would like anyone's opinion on the factors that determine how much protein one should take in daily, when you're on a steroid cycle. I'm 6 ft, 230 lbs, and i'm really tired of feeling so damn full and bloated all the time trying to get it all in.

i try to get 1.5 grams per pound of bodyweight lots of guys go much higher. i know eating is a chore but it must be done try taking a gram of ginger before eating a meal or shake heavy in protein it helps keep the bloat down for me. also aides digestion. dont forget fiber as well. also you can go to a health food store and get digestion aides that may help.

thanks man, but aside from the basic rules, i would like to know what people factor in as to how much protein they should take in. i know that when you gain more mass, you should increase the intake for maintenance, and so on. like i saw a pro bodybuilder at the olympia last year at a buffet, with a plate stacked high with steaks, probably 10 steaks or so. but then again, he was probably 275 lbs, and built and cut up. i know that there is no way i could eat that much at one sitting. he obviously requires more for his physique. how do i determine how much i need for mine ?

Everyone starts with a baseline to work with for example you might start out with 2 grams of protein/bodyweight if you are going to do a cycle if it's a real heavy cycle some start at 3 then they work from there,if they aren't gaining any then they bump up their calories by 500 and their protein content about .5 grams until they start gaining.

you need a minimum of 230 grams. Just to maintain your weight.
