It is a mixed bag. There is no question that you can use it to burn some weight off. The problem is that in the absence of a decent anabolic cycle, it is very indescriminant in what it burns. You can burn off months of hard earned lean tissue right along with fat if you aren't careful. If you are looking to drop scale weight ... great stuff. If you are looking to keep the fat/lean loss reasonable, then best if used with a decent cycle, and used intelligently to avoid a major rebound when you get off.

All of that being said, you can use it at 12.5 - 25mcgs per day without much chance of shutting your own thyroid down or ripping through too much lean.

You ought to be in good shape then. T3 when used along with your cycle will equate to some decent fat loss if the extra boost is needed.

There are several different ideas ... several will work. What I will usually do is something like -

      Days 1-3 25 mcgs
      Days 4-6 50 mcgs
      Days 7-9 75 mcgs
      Days 10 - 20 100 mcgs
      Days 21 - 24 75 mcgs
      Days 25 - 27 50 mcgs
      Days 28 - 30 25 mcgs
      Days 31 - 35 12.5 mcgs

This is what works for me. There are those that suggest high dose then just getting off ... but for me at least the rebound is a definite issue. I have tried several of the methods kicked around and discussed on various forums, but for me anyway something along the lines of the above works the best.

I agree with everything said here except the rebound I have done some experimenting with T3 about 6 times running it different ways and I've found even starting at 100mcg and running all the way through no taper up and no taper down had no adverse affect on me also IMO I think the sides are overrated I don't think it will shut your thyroid down permanately but this is only my oppinion so handle it with care

I am sure the rebound is somewhat individual by nature. Things like age, natural levels, other anabolic supps in the mix, and other factors will come into play.

I have experimented dozens of times with T3, and have tried the 100mcg method you described. For me, the after effects without the taper were an issue. Assuming you are healthy going into a T3 cycle, it certainly shouldn't have a permanent effect of shutting you down. For some individuals though, the stoking back up of your endogenous levels may be a bit pokey and may even something like t-100x, bladderwrack, coleus forskolin may be in order. You should check and make sure your intake of trace minerals (selenium, zinc, copper) is sufficient to aid in the conversion of T4 to T3.

I have personally helped out some folks that didn't do so well with the straight 100mcg method, though I have others that have had no problems at all with it. A little personal experimentation is probably going to be required to dial it in for your individual metabolism and body.

I used the Novothyral by Merk. It has a combination of both t-3 and t-4.

I have been running T3 with my cycle of Anavar and Primo right now--2 weeks on 2 weeks off at 75 mcg a day (taper up and down). Have definitely had inches come off, but it kills my appetite and sometimes I can't eat enough. I am really afraid of it eating through some muscle, but I am trying to make sure I stay on top of eating when on it. I am thinking about dropping the dose a little bit and running it for a longer at a time period. I was also stacking it with Clen at the beginning, but got the shakes too bad. I was only at 20-40 mcg of Clen with it and my heart was RACING......killed my sex drive also so I dropped the Clen in a hurry!! I am thinking about trying some Albuterol instead of Clen next go around....

^You will like Albuterol, because the half-life is only 5-6hrs opposed to 36 with the clen. It wont get you jittery like clen either and you can still sleep at night.
