TweetThat sounds nice.
I had a pool 20ft from my balcony for the aprtments where I lived in South Carolina. It was nice. It was when I first started doing the GIS work when I was 22-23yrs old, so I'd have a few of the guys that were on that job as well come over, and we'd fire the grill up and mix up a cooler full of hunch-punch. We were an instant hit. There were some hotties that lived in those complexes too, and they had that SC personality, which is a little different from Floridians and the other dude's Atlanta ways, so we got it going pool side,lol...it was pretty fun.
For the first couple days at the pool up there, I was thinking, 'why in the hell ain't I getting sun?' If you go to the beach or a pool, or even do yard work for an hour or so down here, you'll get sun...and sun-burnt in about 30minutes the first time or 2 at the beach. I never got burnt once up there. Then I would come home for a weekend and hit the beach for a day and be cooked. I figured it had to be because of the latitude...farther from the sun. It's like when I go down to south FL or even Tampa...you can really cook down there, which we all know it's not good to get burned, but I didn't even have to use a sun block in SC, so it was good for the skin at least.
Tweetgoing to some concert tonight...relaxing and enjoying friends and some family
