TweetI think only an athlete would be tested for it. Can't comment on the donating blood though.
TweetHey guys, what kind of test would one have to be given in order to find clenbuterol in his or her system? and can one still donate blood when on clenbuterol???

I do not condone the use of, nor do I use anabolic or androgenic steroids. My participation on these boards is for informational purposes only. I have done extensive research of AAS and enjoy discussing them for role playing enjoyment.
Tweetdon't give blood 36-48 hours after taking clen. If it shows up it would show that you are taking an asthmatic medication. Clen is basically just a bronchiole dilator.
Tweetditto on what cj said. it is an asthma med
Tweetwould clen even show up on an RIA as a CNS stim (i dont think it would but not sure), or would they have to test using gc/ms?
TweetNo idea..Sorry
Tweeteven more....giving blood can mess up your blood levels if you are on. If you are on or just off I would not give. Outside of that, give if you want. When you give they ask all the info, most places you have to say yes use my blood or no dont. use the one that says no dont, they do not know what you choose. a man giving 4 times a year, lowers his risk of heart problems BIG time. SO, you can give just make sure no one would get your blood!!!!Originally Posted by GirlPatriot

TweetI gave blood yesterday, and was talking to one of the nurses about who can and cannot give blood. She told me that now cancer patients who have had chemo. and radiation can give blood if its been at least 3 years since either treatment. She also said that diabetics and others on constant medication can give useable blood if they have been taking their meds regularly as the doc. recommended.
I never knew that!
TweetIf you not being tested for sports or performance events, don't worry about it. Clen is just albuterol/salmeterol (asthma drugs/bronciodiolators) with a longer half-life. The long half-life is why it was never approved by the FDA for human use. Just a vet drug.
