TweetUnless they cut back on social security, Medicare, and defense the budget will never be balanced. Each of those amounts to 1 trillion each per year roughly, thus resulting in a deficit each year. They will never balance the budget and the debt ceiling will be raised as it has about 70 time since the spending limit was implemented. Perhaps some day the majority of Americans will realize this but its already too late I believe. Runaway inflation is sounding more and more realistic. But hopefully Steve Forbes will be correct in his prediction of a return to a gold standard within 5 years. Some believe we are already undergoing such a transition as central bankks around the world are buying up gold and silver.
