ive worked and trained at newyork univ's sports facility. if its a receptionist gig, pass on it. if you looking to get hired for a training, or your job entitles you to assist others on the floor, then go for it. you get to pass the time talking to others about a topic (working out and overall health) you enjoy yourself.

its a front desk type thing.... pretty much all i'd do is rack weights at the end of the day, sign people in and clean. mostly i'd just be sittin behind the desk signing people in and shit
I have worked as a front desl/receptionist at the golds in Tampa, and loved you meet tons of cool people and kill two birds with one stone like you said, plus membership is free.
