Does anyone here work or used to work at a gym? how was it? their opening up a new one here and i'm thinking about putting a app in.

i figure it'd be a good part time gig while i'm goin to school and plus i can kill two birds with one stone when i'm at the gym to begin with

ive worked and trained at newyork univ's sports facility. if its a receptionist gig, pass on it. if you looking to get hired for a training, or your job entitles you to assist others on the floor, then go for it. you get to pass the time talking to others about a topic (working out and overall health) you enjoy yourself.

I have worked as a front desl/receptionist at the golds in Tampa, and loved you meet tons of cool people and kill two birds with one stone like you said, plus membership is free. Does anyone live in the Gainesville area and know a good place to work out there and maybe get a job there, cause I am moving there to go to school is two weeks?
