TweetLess than a year ago, Ronald Tarvin's very successful powerlifting career could have met its end. In a severe injury, Ronald tore parts of his triceps, teres minor and latisimus dorsi. Three months later, he was hospitalized for 6 days with a massive Rhabdomyolisis, where he came close to losing a kidney. Five days after his release from the ICU, he had surgery for a hernia-like condition.
But just 6 weeks ago Ronald competed at an APA meet, at the 75kg class, totaling 1482lbs raw (just sleeves). In another three days he will compete at the GPC/SPF World Championship in Las Vegas, NF, again at the 75kg class, hoping to win his 7th consecutive title. The previous 1482lbs from the APA meet has put Ronald at #7 in America without wraps.
