TweetNever forget!
TweetSeveral weeks ago, we had a meeting at the National Constitution Center in Philly. Among one of the items at the center, was an actual beam from the Twin Towers from 9/11. Yes, it's just a piece of metal. A very bent piece at that. With a large hole through it.
Then the thoughts go through your head of how much pressure it took to bend it. How hard a force had to hit this solid steel beam to put a hole in it. It's actually quite moving.
I took the photo with my camera phone, so if it's fuzzy, I'm sorry.

Tweetnever will we forget...great post brotha..
TweetYou said it bro, I think I would need some time to myself after being face to face with that just to reflect the whole day. The victims, the heros and the scumbags. Well, I don't worry about the sumbags because I know where they are right now, they are getting their just payment for their actions and will for all eternity.
TweetI wholeheartedly agree Tman!!!
TweetA pice of the twin towers. A brick from the Berlin wall. A bullet from the civil war.
Sometimes, a seeing pice of history can give a very powerful feeling. Now or in 200 years that beam is never going to be "just a pice of metal".
Tweeti went to ground zero last 9-11 2006 for the 5 yr mark, for 9-11 truth..just being around all the families etc gets to u big time..i honestly will never forget that day last year, one of the most important days of my life.. what pisses me off is how the "heros" who were there in 01 helping people are getting no help from our govt and about half of them are dying from lung/breathing problems..a few months ago i saw the rescue worker who rescued one of 2 flags from the wtc tower speak at a meeting in the city, he was saying how he may only have a few months to live and noone was doing anything for him..He went from being flown around on jets to ball games and cheered for,, to lung disease, not to mention arrested for 2 days, and held at gun point by police for possibly being a terrorist for "having chemicals in his house"( he didnt have them, hes a 9-11 truther and lets it be known)..We can argue about what happened on that day but its important that these heros get the health care they need..sorry for going off topic, its just something that bothers me..instead of uneccesary interferences with other countries, we should help our own people.

TweetDamn! Sad stuff. Our heroes definitely deserve better treatment than that!
