Tweetwow..i dont know...suppenly i picture people running around with spoon burn all over there body, lol...
TweetI found this
If you apply heat that's hot enough to HURT (this is key), but not BURN or cause cell damage, for 5-8 seconds, it will completely cure the itching. the first 2 seconds will hurt, the next 3-5 will itch intensely, then it will almost completely stop.
Supposedly the heat causes an overload of histamine, which causes the itching, the itching becomes intense when the histamine overloads, then afterwords you have none left (in the localized area) and it takes a few hours for your body to make enough to start itching again.
That's just what the site said, but for whatever reason, I'm amazed at how it works.
I find it works best when you put the bites under running water, but another way I tried that's harder is to heat a spoon and press it against the skin. The spoon cools quickly so its harder to do.Also Try taking vitamin B1 every day. Just 1 tab will work. The B1 puts off a sent that the mosquitos don't like

TweetIf you can, (because of the smell), like if you're camping, or outdoors'ing it. Anything with a decent percentage of Deet works great. Deep-Woods Off has 18% deet, if I remember correctly. I used to keep Cutter. It is 23% deet. It works great for me, and they tear my ass up if I don't. I get bit worse than everyone else for some reason. Deet. That's the stuff bro.
On the heat thing. Would a hair-dryer put off enough heat, by holding it on the same spot for a few seconds, to do the job?
