TweetOnly 42% of those who currently own a General Motors car are even somewhat likely to buy a GM product for their next car. That figure includes just 30% who are Very Likely to do so. Gm will never be as it once was its over for them.until the new gov is ion place then things will kinda get back to normal but since whats in place now forget about it.

Tweetin all reality....i'd expect it to be a larger number. your gonna loose all the loyal pontiac buyers. the loyal saturn, hummer, and saab buyers. you'll also loose the loyal dealership buyers. (yes...there still is some out there!!). and, alot of these dealers aint gonna just roll up and go away....nooooo...they're gonna get mitsubishi franchise's and volkwagen, ect...we're already approved for suburu and mini franchises. if we get 4 or 5 more, we'll open this into a multi-point lott. alot of gm layoff's happening here and alot of people are gonna be burnt out on gm..when the times change up here and the economy turns, they'll look at what we're selling becouse we're the nieghorhood dealer....gm will loose them too.

In the past I've owned beemers, infinity and in 07 turned my 350Z convert in for an 07 vette 3LT. Knew right after the test drive this was the car for me. I am already looking into picking up a 2010 Z06. These cars were known as the best bang for the buck in sports cars and especially now you can pick one up dirt cheap.

I can however understand that the brand loyalty is absolutely tarnished and will have an impact on their future.
